Kevin & Billie
From high school classmates who couldn't stop arguing to soulmates who can't stop laughing — this is how our forever began.
Where it all began
First Encounters
Billie and Kevin first crossed paths in 2010 when Kevin moved to Connecticut from Haiti. Because they were both Haitian and in the same honors classes, the school paired them together, assuming it would be a natural fit.
Ironically, their early friendship involved more debates and stubborn moments than anything else.
The Almost-Yes Era
When prom season rolled around, Kevin asked Billie to be his date — or more accurately, he asked her to take him to prom. Unsurprisingly, that strategy didn't work.
They stayed friends through graduation, though their yearbook predicted they'd date someday… something Billie was sure would never happen.

The Reunion
After college, Billie and Kevin reconnected. Though they'd gone to schools in different states, they started hanging out, catching up, and just enjoying each other's company.
Nothing romantic yet — just friendship and laughter.
More Than Just Friends
In 2020, life threw a few challenges Billie's way, and Kevin quietly stepped up as someone she could rely on. Living just a few blocks away from the hospital, he was always there when it mattered most.
After drifting for a bit, they reconnected in September 2021. This time between them felt completely different.
Through it all
The Trip That Changed Everything
By Kevin's birthday on December 7th, the sparks between them were hard to ignore. During the holidays, Billie caught COVID and had to be isolated, but Kevin made sure she was taken care of — checking in and dropping off food along the way.
Soon after, Billie planned a solo trip to Curaçao for MLK weekend to escape the cold and Kevin invited himself along (classic Kevin energy). From that trip on, they were inseparable.
On April 30th, 2022, they became official.
Happily Ever After
From that moment forward, Billie and Kevin started living together, building a life side by side.
On Christmas Day 2025, Kevin proposed in NYC — and the rest, as they say, is happily ever after.
